Dining Options at Maldron Hotels

At Maldron Hotels we understand that an essential pleasure of staying in a hotel is the experience at mealtimes. Our food is something we take seriously and even given the current challenging circumstances we are committed to providing our guests with great food and excellent service in a safe environment.

Republic of Ireland

Masks in Ireland continue to be mandatory in public areas until seated for dining. Our hotels will be open to accommodate indoor dining for all from Monday 26th and will be following all government guidelines.

In compliance with Irish Government guidelines, hotel bars & restaurants will open to hotel accommodation guests from June 2nd.  Tables must be booked in advance with a time limit of 105 minutes for a maximum of 6 people over the age of 13 or a max of 15 people including children. Multiple table bookings are not permitted. Room service is also available and outside dining is also available at selected locations.

Maximum time allowance may vary depending on social distancing allowed for at each hotel restaurant or bar – for 1 metre distancing maximum time allowed is 105 minutes and for 2 metre distancing or for outside dining no time limit applies. Details are available on the hotel’s Online Guest Platform.

United Kingdom

In compliance with UK government guidelines, tables of 6 people are allowed from mixed households, children under 12 are not included in the 6. If from the same household the number of people at a table may increase to 10.  All contact details must be taken and retained for contact tracing purposes and social distancing of 1m is required.  Face coverings must be worn once not sitting and moving between amenities in the hotel.

Our new dining experience is a key element of our “Maldron Keep Safe Program” which focuses on the health and safety of our guests. Thankfully, our restaurants, lounges and public areas are spacious so we can manage social distancing effectively and we now have new health & safety protocols which our restaurant team will be happy to explain to you.

Our food is of the highest quality; our meat and produce is specially selected by our chefs who aren’t easy to please. Whether it’s a breakfast to set you up for the day, a healthy lunch or a family dinner, you will find plenty of choice on our tasty menus.


At Maldron Hotels we like to adapt to changing times and changing diets. So, as well as the traditional cooked breakfast, we now offer our own Vitality Breakfast which caters to those who are looking for a healthier way to start their day. We believe breakfast should be a highlight of your stay and we have done everything we can to ensure it remains this way.

Dinner, All Day Dining & Bars

We are very pleased to say that our Grain & Grill Restaurants are now open serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with casual dining and light bites throughout the day from our Red Bean Roastery. Our Lounges & Restaurants are now carefully configured to reflect physical distancing with adequate spacing allowed between tables.

We are now offering our guests the option to enjoy dining In-Room with our brand new “Click & Collect” service, eat in our Grain & Grill Restaurant or just enjoy a good coffee & treat from our Red Bean Roastery coffee dock.

In-Room Dining

Some of our guests may choose to dine in the comfort of their own room at this time and in order to facilitate we have enhanced our in-room service to respond to this. We have adapted our room service menus and developed our unique “Guest Service Platform”. Accessed when you log onto the hotel WiFi it allows you to browse our in-room dining menu and order online. This can then be paid for instantly using debit or credit card. Should you prefer to add this to your room bill you can still do so using our standard in-room call service.

You will be advised of a time for collection of your order at which time your food can simply be picked up from the Click & Go collection point in our restaurant.

Where possible Maldron Hotels is encouraging cashless or contactless payment in our lounges, Red Bean Roastery coffee docks, restaurants and bars.
