Living Green is Maldron Hotels & Partners environmental movement which inspires care for our environment as a “Way of Life” throughout our hotels; both for our people and our guests.
Commitment
All our hotels have been accredited by Green Tourism, a certification program that provides a framework to achieve a sustainable business in the tourism industry. Over 80% of our hotels have achieved the Gold Award.
Waste & Recycling
In 2020 we sent 548 tonnes of food to an anaerobic processing plant which created 219.2 Mwh of energy & 109.6 tonnes of fertiliser.
Buildings Infrastructure
The average age of our hotel buildings is 15 years (Dalata Hotel Group) – young by comparison to many or our counterparts and more energy efficient as a result.
