We have had to make some changes since last time you stayed but rest assured you can always expect the same, friendly welcome and caring teams taking care of you that Maldron Hotels & Partners have always been renowned for. In the interest of our staff and guest safety & in line with Government Guidelines guests are encouraged to wear a face mask when in hotel public areas.

Government Restrictions in Ireland

Can I still stay at a hotel?

  • We are delighted to welcome all guests from within Ireland to our hotels following government guidelines and protective procedures.

We recommend that all government guidelines are followed, please visit www.gov.ie for latest details.

Travelling from outside Ireland:

If you are arriving into Ireland from another country, we ask that all guests follow all public health and government guidelines, please refer to www.gov.ie for further information. Dalata Hotel Group will take the necessary measures as outlined in the Government guidelines to protect the welfare and safety of all guests and team members.

Change of date: Should wish to change your booking date, you can amend your reservations online or direct with the hotel.

Cancellations: Should wish to cancel your booking please cancel your reservation online or direct with the hotel, no cancellation fees will apply.

If you are arriving into the UK from another country, we ask that all guests follow all public health and government guidelines relevant to the status of the country travelling from, please refer to www.gov.uk for further information and for countries that are exempt. Dalata Hotel Group will take the necessary measures as outlined in the Government guidelines to protect the welfare and safety of all guests and team members.

Hotel Restaurants & Bars

Hotel bars & restaurants are open fully in compliance with Government orders. Tables can be booked for  max of 6 adults & children over 13 / Max of 15 with children under age 12.  All dining must show proof of immunity with vaccine passport.  Multiple bookings are not permitted at this time.

. Room service is also available.

  • Restaurants and lounges setup to reflect 1 metre physical distancing guidelines.
  • All food and drink orders will be taken at your table.
  • ‘Click and collect’ and increased in-room dining options available.
  • We encourage cashless or contactless payments in restaurants, lounges and Red Bean Roastery coffee docks.
  • If you are staying with us and are unvaccinated we ask that you dine in your room.

Guest Health & Safety

We continue to maintain the highest standards in hygiene across our business. In order to minimise the risk and prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented strict hygiene procedures. These procedures have been developed in conjunction with direction from the HSE (Ireland), NHS (UK) & World Health Organisation and include:

  • Daily hotel team briefings to ensure enhanced operational protocols.
  • New operational measures across all departments.
  • Increased frequency of cleaning in all areas & an additional sterilisation process.
  • Covid Compliance Officers in all hotels.
  • Provision of alcohol-based sanitisers throughout our hotels.

Flexible Booking Changes

We offer a flexible booking policy on all standard rates and we are making necessary adjustments to our individual booking policies to give you extra peace of mind.

Please see the relevant hotel website to amend your bookings and if you have booked through a third party please contact them directly.

Hotel Services

We continue to take guidance from the HSE (Ireland), NHS (UK) on any further recommended restrictions. Changes to our services include:

  • Online check-in and online check-out for contactless experience.
  • Detailed pre-stay email and welcome information.
  • Rooms are sanitised with a special spray with seal attached to door (hotels in Britain only) to ensure room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned.
  • Touch point cleaning, extra disinfection of high touch areas including door handles, light switches, sockets and remote control.
  • De-clutter in-room amenities including guest directory, paper and pens.
  • Room charge option for meals and drinks in our restaurants, room service and click & collect services.

Swimming Pools & Gyms

All of our Club Vitae leisure centres with gyms and swimming pools are open.

Guests using the gym facilities including studio and classes, must show proof of immunity with vaccine passport.

To ensure guests can safely socially distance whilst swimming or working out, numbers are limited. Due to government regulations, gym & pool visits must be booked in advance and you will be able to book online through our guest services platform. This can be booked in advance of your stay by using the link which will be sent in your pre-arrival email, or you can book once you arrive at the hotel through our online guest services platform. We encourage you to change in your room, additional towels are available. Lockers and drying areas are provided.

Our hotel leisure centres are thoroughly throughout the day and our teams adhere to strict social distancing guidelines.
