We have had to make some changes since last time you stayed but rest assured you can always expect the same, friendly welcome and caring teams taking care of you that Maldron Hotels & Partners have always been renowned for.

Guest Health & Safety

We continue to maintain the highest standards in hygiene across our business. In order to minimise the risk and prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented strict hygiene procedures. These procedures have been developed in conjunction with direction from the HSE (Ireland), NHS (UK) & World Health Organisation and include:

  • Daily hotel team briefings to ensure enhanced operational protocols.
  • New operational measures across all departments.
  • Increased frequency of cleaning in all areas & an additional sterilisation process.
  • Covid Compliance Officers in all hotels.
  • Provision of alcohol-based sanitisers throughout our hotels.

Flexible Booking Changes

We offer a flexible booking policy on all standard rates and we are making necessary adjustments to our individual booking policies to give you extra peace of mind.

Please see the relevant hotel website to amend your bookings and if you have booked through a third party please contact them directly for assistance at this time.

Hotel Services

We continue to take guidance from the HSE (Ireland), NHS (UK) on any further recommended restrictions. Changes to our services include:

  • Online check-in and online check-out for contactless experience.
  • Detailed pre-stay email and welcome information.
  • Rooms are sanitised with a special spray before and after each clean with seal attached to door to ensure room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned.
  • Touch point cleaning, extra disinfection of high touch areas including door handles, light switches, sockets and remote control.
  • De-clutter in-room amenities including guest directory, paper and pens.
  • Room charge option for meals and drinks in our restaurants, room service and click & collect services.

Hotel Restaurants & Bars

In compliance with Government order, hotel bars remain closed until August though some may open for food service. This restriction does not apply to our hotel restaurant or in-room dining which now offer:

  • Restaurants and lounges setup to reflect physical distancing.
  • Breakfast buffets changed to full table service.
  • All food and drink orders will be taken at your table and food will arrive covered by a cloche.
  • ‘Click and collect’ and increased in-room dining options available.
  • We encourage cashless or contactless payments in restaurants, lounges and Red Bean Roastery coffee docks.

Swimming Pools & Gyms

All of our Club Vitae leisure centres with gyms and swimming pools are open.

To ensure guests can safely socially distance whilst swimming or working out, numbers are limited and booking service is available when you arrive at the hotel. We encourage you to change in your room, additional towels available. Lockers and drying areas are provided.

Under current Government regulations showers, steam rooms, saunas and Jacuzzi’s remain closed until further notice.

Our hotel leisure centres are thoroughly sanitised twice daily and our teams adhere to strict social distancing guidelines.

Family Activities

This summer Maldron Hotel Oranmore Galway, Maldron Hotel Sandy Road Galway and Maldron Hotel Wexford will all offer a range of complimentary family activities to keep your little ones entertained during your stay. All of our activities are designed in keeping with social distancing guidelines while still providing a fun place to stay for all the family.
