This accessibility guide provides practical information about accessibility features at our hotel to support guests with physical, sensory, or other access needs when planning their stay.

Whether you are travelling for business, leisure or simply passing through Dublin Airport, our team are here to support your individual needs. We understand that every guest is different, and we are happy to assist with any accessibility requirements to help make your stay as smooth and stress-free as possible. 

Our hotel offers accessible facilities and services designed with comfort and convenience in mind. If you have specific requirements in advance of your arrival, please do not hesitate to contact us. Walking from Dublin Airport terminals 

  • 5-minute walk from Terminal 2
  • 7-minute walk from Terminal 1
  • Fully paved and well-lit pedestrian walkways.
  • Step-free access suitable for luggage and mobility aids.
  • Follow the signs for airport hotels when exiting the terminal buildings
  • For guests who prefer not to walk, a courtesy shuttle service operates between the hotel and the terminals.

By car 

  • Located within the Dublin Airport complex, just off the M1 and M50 motorways.
  • 15-20 minutes from Dublin City Centre (traffic dependent).
  • On-site parking available (short-term and long-term options).
  • Three accessible car parking spaces available 

By bus 

  • Approximately 10 km from Dublin City Centre.
  • 20-30 minutes by taxi.
  • 30-40 minutes by bus.
  • Several Dublin Bus and Aircoach routes connect the airport directly with the city centre, including O'Connell Street, Temple Bar, and Heuston Station.

The main hotel entrance provides ramp access, ensuring step-free entry for guests using wheelchairs, mobility aids, or luggage. The entrance leads directly into a spacious lobby area designed with accessibility and comfort in mind. 

The lobby offers ample seating, including movable chairs to allow flexible space arrangements. Accessible lower tables are available to accommodate wheelchair users and guests who require additional comfort and ease of use.

7. Accessible Bedroom

We have three dedicated accessible bedrooms located on the main floor of the hotel. 

Each room has been thoughtfully designed to provide sufficient space for wheelchair users including adequate manoeuvring space throughout the bedroom. Furniture is positioned to allow ease of movement and the layout ensures comfortable access to the bed, storage areas, and bathroom facilities. 

All fixtures and furnishings are selected and arranged to support accessibility and independent use wherever possible.

8. Accessible Bathrooms/En-Suites

Our accessible bathrooms are designed to support comfort, safety and independent use wherever possible.

Bathrooms feature roll-in or walk-in showers to provide step-free access, and shower chairs available upon request. Grab rails are positioned beside the toilet and within the shower area to offer additional support and stability. 

Lower-level sinks are installed to allow easier access for wheelchair users. Toiletries are positioned within reachable height to ensure convenience and ease of use.

Non-slip flooring is provided to enhance safety.

9. Dining & Social Spaces

Our public areas are designed to ensure easy and convenient access for all guests. 

Reception, main lobby, restaurant, and bar are all located on the ground floor, providing step-free access throughout these areas. The layout allows for smooth movement between facilities, making navigation simple and comfortable for guests using wheelchairs or mobility aids. 

Public washrooms are located on the ground floor, including a fully accessible washroom designed to accommodate wheelchair users and guests requiring additional space and support.

10. Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs and guide dogs are warmly welcomed throughout the hotel. 

11. Safety & Staff Training

Our staff are trained in disability awareness and inclusive guest service. Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) can be arranged for guests who may require additional assistance in the event of an emergency. Please inform our team upon arrival so we can ensure appropriate supports are in place. 

Vibrating pillows are available upon request for guests with hearing impairments. 

Our team are available 24 hours a day and are always happy to assist any guest who may require additional support during their stay.

  • Lir Pharmacy – Located at Swords Plaza, Swords (approx 5 km from the hotel). Convenient for prescriptions and healthcare supplies.
  • Boots – A trusted pharmacy in Omni Shopping centre offering general pharmacy services.
  • Corrigan’s Pharmacy – Well-rated community pharmacy on Malahide Road, Dublin 3.
