3. Getting Here 

By Car: If you are arriving by car the hotels Eircode is V94 EDP4. We have an underground carpark located 20 metres from the main entrance on the right, with four accessible parking spaces to avail of.

By Bus: The nearest bus stop to the hotel is the 303-service route located on the Roxboro Road, just a 5-minute
walk from the hotel, which runs to and from Limerick city centre every 15 minutes.

By Train: The hotel is located 3km away from Colbert Station, with multiple train and bus links available.

From Airport: Shannon Airport is the nearest airport to the hotel, located 29 km away.

4. Entrance & Reception 

There are 7 designated accessible parking spaces available in the parking bay directly across from the main entrance of the hotel. The are also 5 more accessible parking spaces available in the hotels underground carpark, located 20 meters from the main entrance on the right. There is a step-free route with a firm surface from the parking area to the main entrance of the hotel.

There is a step free entrance to the main entrance of the hotel via the hotel ramp. There is also step free entrance to the hotel from the underground carpark via the elevator that will bring guests to the reception lobby and gives guests access to the three floors within the hotel.

5. Accessible Bedroom

• We have 6 wheelchair accessible bedrooms and bathrooms with stepfree access, a door width of 80cm and a bed height of 55cm. The bathroom width is 1.98m and the length is 2.78m
• Twin or Double Bed Configurations in Wheelchair-Accessible Rooms: Wheelchair-accessible bedrooms are offered in both double and twin bed configurations. Please note that individual room layouts and bed arrangements may vary, and specific configurations cannot be guaranteed in all rooms.

6. Accessible Bathrooms/En-Suites

• Bedrooms with En-Suite Bathrooms: All bedrooms are equipped with private en-suite bathroom facilities.
• Shower Facilities: Certain bedrooms feature walk-in, wheelchair-accessible showers, while others are fitted with a shower-over-bath combination. Walk-in showers are available upon request, subject to availability.
• We have 6 wheelchair accessible bedrooms and bathrooms.
• The bathroom width is 1.98m and the length is 2.78m.
• Bathrooms are equipped with a walk-in shower, emergency assistance alarm, shower seat, transfer space on one side of toilet and grab rails.
• Floor surfaces are firm and slip resistant

7. Dining & Social Spaces

Club Vitae

There is a leisure centre and gym located in Club Vitae with step free access available for our guests. The leisure centre is located on the ground level of Club Vitae and the gym is located on the upper level where guests can use the elevator to gain access. 

Changing Rooms: There are five changing rooms available in Club Vitae. One accessible changing room, one male changing room, one female changing room & two family changing rooms. There is a walk in shower available in the accessible changing room 

Facilities in Club Vitae: The facilities in Club Vitae include a mixed Swedish style sauna, a jacuzzi heated to 38 degrees, relaxing steam room and power showers. The swimming pool has a depth of 1.2 meters and a length of 20 meters.

Restaurant & Bar

Wheelchair Accessible Food and Beverage Outlet: We have a wheelchair accessible bar “the Grain & Grill”, located on the ground floor which has step-free access on the ground level. We also have a wheelchair accessible restaurant located on the first floor of the hotel, with step free access via both elevators. 

Table Service: Table service is standard for food service during dinner, and is available upon request during lunch and for drinks service. 

Dietary Requirements: We are pleased to accommodate any dietary requirements our guests may have. We kindly ask that you inform a member of our serving staff during your visit, who will be pleased to assist you. Alternatively, you are welcome to contact us in advance to discuss your specific requirements in detail, allowing us to ensure the highest standard of care and preparation.

8. Assistance Dogs

Assistance/Guide Dogs: Service, assistance, and guide dogs are allowed on our premises.

9. Safety & Staff Training

• Disability Awareness and Equality Training: Our team receives disability awareness and equality training to ensure inclusive and supportive service for all guests.
• 24-hour Assistance: Guest assistance is available at all times, day and night.
• Emergency Evacuation Procedures: Personal or General Emergency Evacuation Plans are in place to support guests with disabilities or specific access requirements.
• Emergency Alarm with Vibrating Pillow: A vibrating pillow pad alarm to alert deaf & hard of hearing guests in an emergency is available to guests on request
• Defibrillator: There is a defibrillator located on site in the hotels leisure centre, Club Vitae.
