12. Sensory Story

Hello. My name is Milo.

Today, I am visiting Maldron Hotel Oranmore Galway. I am wearing my backpack. My backpack helps me feel safe. Inside my backpack, I have my swimming goggles, swimming cap, and pyjamas.

I arrive at the hotel. I see a big building. I walk inside. I feel safe.

I go to reception. I see friendly staff. Staff smile and help me. I might hear talking and phones. That is okay.

I go swimming. I wear my swimming cap and goggles. I see the blue pool. I hear splashing. I feel happy.

I visit the restaurant. I wear my Maldron hoodie. I smell food. If it is busy, staff help me find a quiet space.

I go to my bedroom. My bedroom is quiet and calm. I put on my pyjamas. The bed feels soft. This is my safe space.

I visit Crafty Kids Club. I go upstairs in the lift. I see toys and the sensory area. This space is fun.

My visit ended. I feel proud. I feel happy. It all started here.

See you Soon!
