Dinner is served in grain & grill restaurant every day from 5.00pm. The menu includes options to suit all tastes prepared from local and Irish produce. Our restaurant has stunning views of the historic city walls and a convivial atmosphere for relaxed dining.

We believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We offer a varied selection with something to suit all tastes including healthy, nutritious options and also a delicious traditional full Irish breakfast with all the trimmings served to your table.

Lyric Bar

Our bar, “the home of loud food and tasty music” incorporates the eclectic music culture, past and present, within this wonderful city of Derry.

With our music wall of fame standing pride of place within the bar, guests can enjoy reflecting on the true talent our City has to offer, Phil Coulter, The Undertones, Josef Locke only to name a few.

Our bar food menu is served daily from 12.00 noon until 9.00pm.

Party Like it’s 1999

Book our Party Like it’s 1999 offer and enjoy a main course with bottomless cocktails or sparkling wine for only £19.99. The cocktails are served for 2 hours and the time slot starts from the time of booking.

Available every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 12.00pm – 8.00pm, booking essential.


Afternoon Tea

Our fabulous afternoon tea is served daily from 12.00 pm 5.00 pm.

Treat yourself to a selection of savoury finger sandwiches, mini scones with cream and jam, shortbread and a selection of desserts served with your choice of freshly brewed tea or coffee.

Priced at £12.50 per person or £15.00 with Prosecco.

In-Room Dining

Dine in the comfort of your room with our in-room dining available for collection. In-room dining is available for collection every day and is served from 12.00 noon until 9.00pm.

Private Dining Derry

Our Tyrconnell suite is available for private dining for occasions such as christenings, birthday parties, first communions and funeral receptions. Ideally located on the ground floor it is the perfect venue for a family gathering in Derry City.

    Does the hotel have car parking?

    Parking is limited and is on a first come first served basis. If there is no parking available we can redirect you to alternative parking.

    Where is the hotel located?

    We are located inside the historic City Walls of Derry just off Butcher Gate on Butcher Street.

    Are you close to local transport?

    Yes, Maldron Hotel Derry is within walking distance to the local bus centre, one mile away from Derry-Londonderry Railway Station and five miles away from Derry Airport.

    Check-in is 3.00pm on the day of arrival.

    What time is check-out?

    Check-out is 12.00pm on the day of departure.

    What is the smoking policy?

    We are a strictly non-smoking hotel. This also includes e-cigarettes.

    Breakfast is served between 7.00am to 10.00am Monday to Friday and from 7.30am to 10.30am Saturday and Sunday.

    All reservations made on maldronhotelderry.com or maldronhotels.com can click here to manage the reservation.

    Bookings made via third party websites must be cancelled through them.

    What is the cancellation policy?

    Maldron Hotel Derry offers free cancellation up to 12 noon, day prior to arrival for almost all reservations made on maldronhotels.com or maldronhotelderry.com. Some special offers and key dates may specify a special cancellation policy, these will be clearly outlined in the terms & conditions.

    Reservations booked via third party websites and online travel agents have their own cancellation policies, please refer to your confirmation email.
