Getting to the Hotel

Being within a 10-minute drive away from M50 (Exit 7), our location is easy to access, no matter what the route you are on (M1, M2, M3, N7, N4, N11 or N81) while coming into Dublin.

  • Once off M50 (Exit 7), take direction onto City Centre (Chapelizod Bypass) and continue straight for 6.7 km,
  • Turn right onto Wolfe Tone Quay, turn left onto Church Street, left onto King Street, left again to Queen Street and you will see the car park entrance on your left.
  • Upon car park entry, collect the ticket and drive to -2 level.
  • Park on the left side, follow hotel signage and access through the private guest entrance.
  • Please mind your ticket and ensure to validate at the hotel reception for a special rate before your departure.
  • Parking payment can be made either through parking machines on the ground floor or with concierge directly on the exit.

How do I access parking?

Adjoining multi-storey car-park can be accessed from Queen Street. Please park on -2 level and follow Maldron signage for direct access to the hotel.

How does the parking system work?

On arrival, you will need to collect the parking ticket for the barrier to open. Please keep it safe throughout your stay and don’t forget to validate it at the hotel reception on departure. Once validated, drive up to the car park exit barrier in -1 level and settle the amount due at the pay station located beside the parking attendant’s desk.

Where do I validate the ticket to receive a special rate?

You can validate your ticket at the hotel reception.

Which parking level should I use?

Please drive down to -2 level as this is the level where you will have direct access to the hotel (please follow Maldron signage for direct hotel access).

Can I get in and out as many times as I need?

Yes, however, it would not be financially effective as you would need to pay every time you leave parking and collect another ticket on your return.

How do I pay for the car park?

You can drive up to the car park exit barrier in -1 level and settle the amount due at the pay station located beside the parking attendant’s desk.

What if I have an issue with parking?

Any queries can be directed to the parking attendant’s desk during their opening hours (7.00am to 12.00am midnight), or alternatively you can speak to the hotel reception team and we will assist where possible.

    What are the times for breakfast?

    Breakfast is served from Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 10.00am and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays from 8.00am to 11.00am.

    Do room rates include breakfast?

    Maldron Hotel Smithfield offers both room only and bed & breakfast rates. Room only rates do not include breakfast. However, you can always add breakfast on when you arrive.

    What time is dinner served from in the restaurant?

    Lunch is served from 12 noon to 3.00pm, and dinner is served from 5.00pm to 10.00pm from Monday until Sunday.

  • Booking

    What does our “no show” policy entail?

    If you do not show up on the day of your booking, you will be charged the full amount for your first night’s stay. If you have booked our “advanced purchase” or “prepay and save” rates, you will incur a 100% penalty charge for the entire duration of your stay.

    Yes, Maldron Hotel Smithfield is wheelchair accessible and we offer five fully accessible wheelchair rooms.

    Is the hotel a non-smoking hotel?

    Yes, all bedrooms at Maldron Hotel Smithfield are completely non-smoking. We do have a designated outdoor smoking area at the front of the hotel to accommodate guests who smoke. A deep cleaning fee will be charged to guests who are found to be in breach of our no smoking policy.
