In conjunction with our core values, we want to make a positive contribution to the communities that we operate in. We have set out this statement to highlight our commitment in three key areas.

Our People

We are committed to providing a harmonious and fair working environment with real and equal opportunities for all in which no form of intimidation or discrimination exists. Suppliers

We are committed to maintaining high standards amongst our suppliers. We require all suppliers to comply with the principles Maldron Hotel Wexford adheres to, by promoting ethical conduct in the workplace, safe working conditions in our supply chain, the treatment of persons with respect and dignity, and environmentally responsible practices.

Community

It is important we work closely with our neighbours and have positive team members to engage actively in the community by supporting local organisations, sports clubs and community events.

Customers

Our objective is to continuously improve our customers’ experience at every stage of their journey from the moment they think about booking to check out and departure. We work to understand our customers and to gain a better insight into their preferences and expectations in all areas of our business and actively interact with them to obtain feedback on our business via Trust You.

Environment

Maldron Hotel Wexford recognises the significance of global climate change and is committed to minimising its impact on the environment. We aim to be a sustainable business where social and environmental considerations are part of the culture and integrated in the way we run our hotel infrastructure and processes, how we buy our goods and services, and how we support our guests. Living Green is Dalata Hotel Group’s environmental movement which inspires care for our environment as a “Way of Life” throughout our hotel; both for our people and our guests.

Living Green

Maldron Hotel Wexford recognises the importance of managing and reducing our energy and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions across our businesses. To this end, we have an active program of measurement and reporting in these areas to support our reduction aims. We continue to engage in conservation projects across our hotel to add to projects already
completed. We are committed to reducing the consumption of single-use plastics in our hotel. We will continue to divert waste from landfill in Ireland.
