Opened in 1882, Gosforth Park is home to the famous Northumberland Plate. The racecourse hosts a number of events, including exhibitions, conference, weddings and private parties and is one of the busiest racecourses in all of Britain. The Tapeta track serves as the world’s only floodlit, all-weather straight mile in the world.
Ideal for family get-togethers, friendly celebrations and corporate entertaining, Raceday Restaurant is one of the many areas on the racecourse where you can bring your guests along. Packages are available all year round, these include an admission ticket, 3-course carvery menu, reserved seating and a race day programme.
You can even join the social highlight of the year – taking place every July is the annual Newcastle Races!
