Trad on the Prom is an unforgettable Irish Dance entertainment experience that captivates the audience with its Irish dance and traditional Irish music and theatre performances from start to finish.
The 2-hour extravaganza show showcases the talents of its Trad musicians and performers. Over 10 years old Trad on the Prom was developed from catch up members of Lord of the Dance and Riverdance who have semi-retired to Galway. The outcome in turn developed into a creation of talented musicians, dancers and singers coming together to showcase the uniqueness of Irish song and dance. The show is paired with modern sound and lighting bringing a show together that attracts audiences of all ages.
The show guarantees an excellent show time and time again. The performers include dance professionals and musical superstars who have performed in Riverdance, The Chieftains and Lord of the Dance. Some performers are also World Champions with World Dance Titles.
Each performance is show lifts the audience’s spirits and is a show to remember and never forget. Music will be played by the supreme and talented Mairín Fahy and accompanied by her husband producer of Trad on the Prom Chris Kelly. The show is lively, fresh and fun throughout.
The show runs on every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and from the beginning of May to the end of September with doors open at 7.50 pm with show starting at 8.30pm.
