There are many family attractions within walking distance of the hotel including Fitzgerald’s Park & Playground, Shandon Bells, Elizabeth Fort or why not hire bikes and cycle one of the many cycle routes close to the City.
Cork boasts some spectacular beaches some within 30 minutes drive from the hotel including Garretstown & Garrylucas Beach, both in West Cork not far from the Old Head of Kinsale & Old Head Golf Club. They are both a short drive from Kinsale which is a historic port and fishing town.
The town has lots of lovely artisan cafés and restaurants, many overlooking the seafront serving delicious seafood. Or head East to Garryvoe Beach which is a 30 minutes drive from the City towards Midleton home of the Jameson Distillery. From the sea, you can see Ballycotton lighthouse and drive or walk along the coastline. All the beaches are ideal for a family stroll, swimming, sand-castle making, kite-flying, a game of football or frisbee.

Rumley’s Farm is located in Waterfall, Cork. It has a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for children of all ages and has many exotic and domestic animals. Fota Wildlife Park

Cork City Gaol
Cork is a city with a very rich historical and archaeological heritage – much of it still in evidence today. Part of this heritage, Cork City Gaol, is located 2 km from Patrick’s Street.
