When travelling from Dublin:

• Head west on Cork Hill/N81 toward castle street,continue to follow N81
• Continue onto High St, onto Thomas St, onto James's St, onto Mount Brown, onto Old Kilmainham, onto Emmet Rd
• Turn left onto Grattan Cresent. Continue onto Tyrconnell Rd, Onto Naas Rd.
• Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Limerick/Cork/Waterford/N9/N7
• Keep left at fork and merge onto Naas Rd/n7.Continue to follow N7
• Continue onto M7, take exit onto M8, continue onto N8
• At the roundabout, the the 3rd exit onto N8 to Cork/n20/Limerick
• Merge onto N8, go through one roundabout
• Turn left onto Water St/N8. Continue to follow N8
• Continue onto St. Patrick's Quay (signs for N20/Limerick)
• Continue onto Camden Place, then onto Canden Quay,slight right onto Mulgrave Rd
• Take the slight right onto Upper John Street. 
• The Maldron Hotel Cork is halfway up this steep hill and located on the left

When travelling from Waterford or Rosslare (N25),

• Follow the Cork city centre signs taking the 1st exit at the Lota roundabout. 
• Continue straight ahead along the Lower Glanmire Road following the city centre signs. 
• Turn left at Water Street (you can't go straight ahead) 
• Continue driving along Horgans Quay, (river is on your left). 
• Continue straight ahead passing 4 bridges on your left (river is always on your left). 
• Once you have passed the 4th bridge on your left take the immediate right up Musgrave Road 
• Pass the Dominican Centre ( yellow and pink building) on your left. 
• The Maldron Hotel Cork is halfway up this steep hill and located on the left
